How to play

Find a way out.
Keep each other alive.

Play a Survivor trying to escape, or a Hunter determined to stop them.

As a Survivor

  1. Search the prison

Find a way out of your locked cell, search rooms for tools and supplies, and use your walkie-talkie to share what you find.

  2. Find a working exit

Investigate escape routes and check their clues. Different routes create different opportunities. Discover what is usable and share what you learn.

  3. Get it open

Find the keys, tools and supplies your route needs. Unlock doors, hack powered terminals and finish the escape tasks. Create distractions and rescue captured teammates.

  4. Make your escape

Reach the prepared exit and get out. Help teammates escape before the Fog closes in. Every Survivor who gets out matters.

As a Hunter

  1. Track them down

Patrol, listen for noise and follow signs of activity. Discover which exits the Survivors are preparing.

  2. Cut off the escape

Use your Hunter’s specialty to control approaches, interrupt their work and capture isolated Survivors.

  3. Finish the hunt

Capture Survivors, control access and stop rescue attempts. Keep them inside as the Fog closes in. Ritual executions remain in development.

18 minutes. Then the Fog takes the prison. The current development build ends the Broadcast when the Fog engulfs everyone still inside. Find an escape before time runs out. The Fog’s origin remains classified.

Inside Declared Missing

A symmetrical cell-block hall in amber emergency light: tiled pillars, twin iron staircases and rusted cell doors on both sides.

The Prison

Captivity, exploration and hidden infrastructure. Familiar rooms conceal unfamiliar dangers. Learn the environment without knowing what waits beyond the next door.

The arched iron main gate of the prison at night, cold blue stone lit by warm orange light pouring out of the open doorway.

The Broadcast

The Host stages the spectacle. His voice travels through the building. Someone is watching; who receives the transmission remains unknown.

A storm over the prison’s outer wall at night. Lightning strikes behind a rusted fire-escape staircase with two lit windows above the yard.

The Hunt

Survivors cooperate and improvise. Hunters pursue and contain. Limited information, scarce resources and tactical choices drive the tension.

Existing in-engine environment captures. Work in progress.

Broadcast in progress

A match is called a Broadcast. Someone is always watching it.

  1. Up to 3Hunters stalk the facility — using sound, observation and teamwork.
  2. Up to 5Survivors search, hide, fight back and rescue each other — with limited resources and information.
  3. 18 minutesbefore the Fog ends the Broadcast in the current development build. Multiple escape opportunities demand exploration and decisions.

The core of Declared Missing

Choose your nightmare.

One asymmetric survival-horror experience, three planned team sizes. Smaller groups concentrate the pressure; larger groups demand more coordination. The schematic illustrates the intended scale, not a playable build or a literal map.

1v3, 2v4 and 3v5 are planned match scales, not separate rule sets. 2v4 is the design baseline. These configurations are not yet fully playable: internal sessions have reached 1 Hunter versus 4 Survivors. Format integration and balance remain in development; no public build is available.

Territory

Light favors Survivors.
Darkness favors Hunters.

Power is territory. Restore a breaker and a corridor becomes yours. Lose it, and the dark belongs to them again.

The Host

“Without hope, it isn’t a hunt. It’s only slaughter.”

He speaks through radios, televisions, intercoms and emergency speakers. He rarely appears in person — only in distorted monitors, reflections and observation glass.
