8-Bit Cache Studios operates this website. This notice describes website recruitment and newsletter requests, not the unreleased game.
Player accounts
Player accounts are not open on this build. The portal preview collects no account information. Existing alpha-interest and newsletter-request forms remain separate; an interest submission does not create a player account.
Registration availability
Registration is enabled on this build. The service must confirm receipt before a request is treated as saved.
Alpha interest
When enabled, we store your email, privacy acknowledgement and submission time, plus any optional display name, region/time zone, role preference, testing experience and comments you provide. Windows PC is the initial target. We use this information for recruitment and test coordination, not marketing unless you independently request it.
Newsletter
Newsletter requests are stored separately with email, consent time/version and subscription status. We require email confirmation before treating an address as subscribed. A pending request is not a confirmed subscription. Unsubscribing changes newsletter status without removing alpha interest. A confirmation and unsubscribe link are provided through the configured email service; email delivery is pending until that service is configured.
Spam protection and security
The registration service processes your network address into a keyed hash for short-lived rate limits. It uses a timed form check and an empty spam-trap field. These checks do not set tracking cookies. Registration records are available only to authorized studio administrators.
Cookies and hosting
The website uses self-hosted fonts and images, with no analytics, advertising cookies or social embeds. The hosting provider may process network addresses and request logs to operate and secure the service. If tracking is introduced, this disclosure and any required controls must change first.
Legacy interest records: storage and retention
The selected registration setup uses private Amazon Web Services S3 storage through an AWS registration endpoint. Email delivery is disabled, and newsletter requests remain pending. This does not create an active marketing subscription.
Records are stored in AWS US East (N. Virginia), United States. Registration records currently have no automatic expiry and remain stored until manually deleted. A fixed retention period has not yet been established. Spam-protection records expire after one day; service logs expire after 14 days. No email provider is connected to this legacy intake.
Choices for legacy interest records
No newsletter messages are currently sent through the legacy intake. Newsletter requests remain pending and do not authorize sending until email confirmation is available. We do not sell registration records. Self-service access, correction and deletion of legacy interest records are not available; these records can currently be removed only by a studio administrator.
Children and sensitive information
This horror-game website is intended for mature audiences and is not directed at children. Do not include sensitive information in optional comments. Final testing eligibility will be explained before invitations.
