Development status
Declared Missing is currently in development. Gameplay systems, characters, abilities, environments, visual presentation, features, release plans, and other content shown on this website are subject to change before release.
Images on this website are in-engine development captures labelled as work in progress. They are not final gameplay footage, and character proxy/test captures are withheld from the public gallery.
A work of fiction
Declared Missing is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places, organizations, events, and incidents depicted in the game are either products of the authors' imagination or used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is coincidental. The facilities, institutions, organizations, personnel, procedures, and events portrayed are fictional and are not intended to represent any real correctional institution, government agency, law-enforcement organization, or individual.
AI transparency
Studio policy prohibits generative AI in game visual and audio assets. Our production approach combines in-house work and licensed third-party assets, with provenance review before release. AI-assisted tools support engineering, code review, debugging and testing; they do not replace artistic direction or asset production.
AI-assisted tools may be used during software development — for programming, debugging, code analysis, refactoring, implementation assistance and technical research.
Asset licensing
Declared Missing uses a combination of original in-house work and appropriately licensed third-party assets, used under the terms of their respective licenses. Required attributions and package provenance must be verified before release; the final credits are in preparation.
